DTF Printing – transfer foils for textiles

DTF printing is the innovative solution for your high-quality textile printing. It is especially popular for promotional items and can be used for the individual design of numerous products. DTF printing is also very much in vogue for clothing and other textiles. The areas of application for DTF (=Direct To Film), i.e. digital textile printing systems, are extensive. In addition to promotional items, DTF printing is also frequently used in the fields of fashion and apparel, home textiles and decorative items, lanyards and soft signage (for banners and flags, for example). It can be used to print a wide variety of textiles quickly, easily and with convincing results.

How does DTF textile printing work?

In this revolutionary printing process, a selected motif is printed with 4 (CMYK) colors on a carrier material. Depending on the technology, a direct textile printer, a textile transfer printer or a sublimation printer is required. By means of transfer foil, the designs are applied from the carrier material to the desired object. After printing, the textile is coated with a powdered hot melt adhesive, which forms a strongly adhesive bond with the textile fibers during further processing by means of non-contact heat treatment. A robust, stretchable surface is formed. The printing thus lasts much longer and also looks more convincing than with conventional technologies. It holds up excellently even after many washes at up to 60 degrees in the machine. DTF printing impresses with its quality and attention to detail. High-quality inks produce vivid, powerful colors that do not fade.

Your print-ready PDF/PNG with motif or logo will be produced in high-resolution digital printing 4-color according to your wishes. Even the production of a single sheet is possible, as minimum quantities are not a requirement for DTF printing. A transfer is suitable for many applications. These include, for example, exhibition elements for trade fairs, advertising elements for outdoor use and orientation signs, graphics for indoor use, umbrellas of all kinds and a wide variety of backdrops.
